The Myth - Attaining Muscle Mass Without Having Body Fat

Plenty of you have expressed concerns about gaining a lot of body fat during such a high calorie diet, and ponder whether you want to do some exercising aerobically to counterbalance the weight gain.

Certainly not.

That will be detrimental to gaining muscle. For optimum results, either have to train and diet to realize muscle or lose weight quick. One or the other. A high level true hardgainer, you cannot do both. If you attempt, you will not make any substantial progress no matter what. So, the time has come to gain weight. You may worry about shedding fat later.

In reality there are no magic pills, powders, foods or exercises that will permit you to build muscle and lose fat at the same time.

All this is determined by your genetics and metabolism. Some people can do it, some can't. If you're naturally thin this will let you difficult time putting on the weight of any kind, it might be silly individuals to think you will be able to build muscle while continuing to keep your body fat low.

Most skinny guys desire to gain more muscle, but are afraid of gaining body fat. They see every one of the bodybuilder photos and focus the stories about people gaining pounds of muscle while losing pounds of fat - They wish to do the same. When examining these photos, you have to remember that most of these people do not have the body type. Nearly all of them are overweight and wish to lose fat, not build muscle.

'Well', you say, 'What about individuals who transformed their bodies? They lost fat and gained muscle'. Yes, but the vast majority of these people were overweight, or had high levels of body fat. To put it differently, their metabolisms were, typically, slow. They merely dieted and trained for weight loss.

Weight training helped these to tone up and slightly improve their muscle mass by replacing some of the fat with muscle. However, you will never increase your body mass far above your original starting weight on that type of diet.

To put it differently, even when you gain some muscle, you'll actually weight less!

For example, Big Joe weighs 189lbs with 18% body fat. This ends up to be 34lbs of fat and 155lbs of muscle. Then he goes on a weight loss diet and slowly diets into a ripped 5% excess fat at 168lbs, that's 8.4lbs of fat and 160lbs of muscle. He lost 26lbs of fat, and his weight only took place by 21lbs. So, looking that we realize that they managed to also gain 5lbs of muscle. You can see that he has more muscle mass than when he started, and that he looks totally ripped, but his weight decreased because his definitive goal was weight-loss. He looks superior, and his measurements changed, but he only increased his total weight by five pounds.

If you're very thin, you can't do this. Yes, one's body fat will decrease, and this will also present you with more muscle mass, but it will not likely improve your weight. You are going to just get much thinner. Big Joe was 'big' to start with; we are not. To have the same results as Big Joe, you should first gain the strain, and then pay attention to losing the body fat later. Joe had the dimensions; he just necessary to trim down. We do not possess the size to utilize, so we must force the body to grow beyond our body's comfort range. Here is the hard part.

This is the reason if you wish to grow outside your current size, you will need to diet for it specifically.

Remember, the majority of you have fast metabolisms. Gaining weight is going to be extremely difficult.

The only method you will get bigger is usually to shock one's body.

You must shock the body by:

1. Training with household names, and

2. Eating a lot of calories.

The first shock is by using weight training. You have to focus on compound free- weight exercises, and lift big names, which will stimulate the largest quantity of muscles. Your body responds with this stimulus by improving your muscle tissue.

The second way we must shock bodies are by eating more calories than the body is used to. This can be the the crucial element in gaining mass. Whenever you overload your system with plenty of protein and fats, your system has no other option but to acquire weight.
