Karan Johar- An All Rounder in Entertainment Industry

Karan Johar, in his childhood was always fascinated by the movies created by Raj Kapoor, Sooraj Barjatya and Yash Chopra. Later as an adult, he took inspiration from all their movies and was able to churn his movies so well that they could be a good competition. As a kid he saw his father making movies and was inspired to direct and produce his own movies.

Immediately after his father's death, he managed to handle the Dharma production effortlessly. He started off his career, with Aditya Chopra's movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, in which he acted as the close friend of Raj and also worked as the assistant director for the same. Later in 1998, his blockbuster hit Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released, which proved to be one of the biggest hit of the year. The movie was honored with various awards.

Karan is a brilliant director as he knows the expectations of his audience and also knows how the Indian audience can be attracted and impressed by the emotions. All of his movies are family movies and so the age group of the audience varies.

His talk show, Koffee with Karan, also became a huge success due to its endearing and easy nature that allowed fans to know their favorite stars closely. His latest venture, Student of the Year, is a very young and frothy film that portrays the new age campus life and the spirit of competition in the youth. It serves as the launch pad for three new actors - Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.

Karan also ensures that his actors feel absolutely comfortable on the sets of his film or his much coveted chat show which garnered wide acclaims from industry and masses equally.He is a very good TV host as well, as knows rightly how to make his guests comfortable on his show.

The audiences extremely enjoy the show as they get to know their favorite stars more closely. It has also been acknowledged as the first English television chat show in India that has acquired huge television ratings. Karan is a complete entertainer and hope he continues to do so forever.
